In addition to our Quattro Therapy support surfaces for the prevention and management of pressure ulcers, we also provide Venturi negative pressure wound therapy products for wound symptom management and healing, Synchro intermittent pneumatic compression systems for preventing venous thromboembolism and TECcare antimicrobial products to reduce the risk of infection.

By focusing on reducing the risk of pressure ulceration, deep vein thrombosis and infection, Talley are fully committed to treating and caring for people in a safe environment and protecting them from avoidable harm, in line with the NHS Outcomes Framework.

With safe and effective patient care driving reductions in avoidable harms we feel that responsible medical device manufacturers must play their part by delivering the safest, most effective products to healthcare providers, clinicians and patients.

At Talley we understand that although specialist support surfaces are only one piece of the patient care jigsaw, we recognise that should any PAC surface prove unsafe or ineffective this can increase the risk of patient harm.
 

So, what have we done about it?

Talley have voluntarily registered all our powered PAC support surfaces as Class IIa medical devices. In simple terms, all our product safety and performance claims are now independently audited, and by doing this it demonstrates our commitment to putting safety first. . This means when placing a patient onto a Talley mattress you can be confident that you are treating and caring for people in a safe environment and helping to protect them from avoidable harm, (in line with the NHS Outcomes Framework).
